This project involved redesigning and improving an existing bar straightener on a conveyor system within a steel fabrication environment. The goal was to fabricate all the necessary steel components, improve the rollers, and make the overall system more functional and safer for the end customer. The existing setup used a jib crane that was not effective. The new design incorporated a hydraulic unit that allows the bar to be picked up and dropped without any manual handling — a task that previously required 3 to 4 workers can now be performed by just one person.

This large-scale dismantling project involved removing three massive forging presses, totaling approximately 500,000 lbs of material. The entire job consisted of disassembly, removal, and moving everything out to the yard for scrap or repurposing. This project was completed in just three days. This project is a strong example of the company's ability to manage large, time-sensitive industrial jobs with efficiency.

This project involved repairing a forging manipulator which is a machine that takes a molten hot bar out of a furnace and moves it to wherever it's needed in the plant. The machine had not been worked on in over 10 years and required extensive work across 34 different service points. The team used Bortech welders and specialized tools to machine out worn parts and restore the machine to working condition. The job was completed by 5 workers over 16 days of 12-hour shifts.
